Errands Day

Today we kicked butt. We hit Once Upon a Child, the Rochester Cider Mill, and then Joann Fabrics, which kids around the world agree is the most boring store ever. I've never tried to attempt it with any of my kids before, but they did great! It was even right during naptime. Yes, I like to live on the wild side.

Anyway, the cider mill was just wonderful. The weather today was in the low 70s and it was a total pleasure to be outside. We met Lois and Asher, and spent such a long time there, first talking inside while the kids played in the corn with the tractor toys. Then we ate donuts and waved away hornets by the picnic tables. Then we headed over to the antique tractors, which was far and away William's favorite part. After running around on the haystack, we headed back to the tractors and then finished up by visiting the animals. That's my favorite part :-) There are two sheep, four goats, and some chickens. This is just such a charming place. I love it! William was begging to go back soon. Maybe we will.
