I think this boy needs a sandbox.

July 30, 2014.

The day started out great, with chocolate for Will. Why? Why, poo-poo on the potty, of course!
I did it! I get choc-it!
We couldn't stay inside. The weather was perfect. Barrett was napping and I needed to do some weeding, so I set Will up with the perfect activity: play sand in a couple of buckets.

It was an absolutely perfect day to be outside.

Bo even stuck around, surprisingly.

Everything was green. The peak of summer green.

The porch was in all her "perfect sittin' spot" glory.
When I turned around, the sand was no longer in the bucket.
  I love his plum face.

He wanted to swim in this sand.

Can you believe how badly I wanted to get down and make a construction site with him?

Hours.

We blew through afternoon nap. This was a blast.

(By the way, Auntie Erin bought Will those trucks for his birthday. I've seen them at Meijer, Walmart, and even the dollar store (though not the five pack there, sold individually). They're about $5 for five trucks. They have been THE BIGGEST HIT and I heartily recommend them for anyone with a boy. They've come with us on trips and are always a favorite at home. I think I might get each of my kiddos a set for their Christmas stockings. I'm guessing by that point, Will's will have sustained permanent damage.)
