Two stories and a song

Story I

When I ask Will if he wants to hear a story, chances are he'll say, "Mr. 'Reekay?"

That means he wants to hear this:

"Mr. Enrique was driving down the field in his brand new blue tractor.
He loved his blue tractor so much, he sang this song:
I love my blue tractor,
I love my blue tractor,
I love my blue tractor!
Oh NO! Mr. Enrique drove into a large puddle of MUD!
He was stuck in the MUCK!
'MISS MICHELLE!' he cried. 'I need your help!'
So she came and they PUSHED -
but did the tractor come out? No.
So they said, 'Miss Debbie! Aunt Becca! We need your help!'
So they came and they all PUSHED -
but did the tractor come out? No.
So they said, 'Miss Hannah Mr. Phillip! We need your help!'
So they came and they all PUSHED -
but did the tractor come out? No.
So they said, 'Aunt Kathleen! Mr. Nick! We need your help!'
So they came and they all PUSHED -
but did the tractor come out? No.
So they said, 'Uncle Matthew! Auntie Erin! We need your help!'
So they came and they all PUSHED -
but did the tractor come out? No.
So they said, 'Uncle Joel! Aunt Dayna! We need your help!'
So they came and they all PUSHED -
but did the tractor come out? No.
So they said, 'Grandpa! Grandma! We need your help!'
So they came and they all PUSHED -
but did the tractor come out? No.
THEN, who came walking by, but Seth and Austin!
So they said, 'Seth! Austin! We need your help!'
So they helped and they all PUSHED -
but did the tractor come out? No.

Then, William and Barrett walked up!
And they said, 'Can WE help you push out your tractor?'
And Mr. Enrique said, 'I'm sorry, boys, but you are too small to help.'
But William and Barrett said, 'We are NOT too small! We are strong men!'"
(at this point in the story I say, "Show me, Will!" and he makes great big muscles!)
"So Mr. Enrique said, 'Okay, you boys can help.'
So William and Barrett got behind
Seth, Austin, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Joel, Aunt Dayna, Uncle Matthew, Auntie Erin, Aunt Kathleen, Mr. Nick, Miss Hannah, Mr. Phillip, Miss Debbie, Aunt Becca, Miss Michelle, and Mr. Enrique, and they all PUSHED!
And did the tractor come OUT?
YES!

And Mr. Enrique said to Will and Barrett, 'THANK you, boys! You helped us get the tractor out! And just for that, I will let you drive the tractor home!'
So William and Barrett said, 'Hop on in the trailer, everyone!'
And they drove back to the house for dinner, where they ate [whatever it is we are actually having for dinner that day],
And after that, they all played basketball!
THE END."

At which point, William says, "Read 'gain??"

Story II

Another story he likes is this:
"Once upon a time, Mr. Kurt's BIG, POWERFUL green tractor wouldn't start!
Oh no!
'Rotten luck!' said Mr. Kurt.
'Does anyone know how to make my tractor GO?'
'Let ME try!' said Grandpa,
and he took the keys and HE climbed up,
but did the tractor GO?
No.
'Rotten luck!' said Mr. Kurt.
'Does anyone know how to make my tractor GO?'
'Let ME try!' said Uncle Joel,
and he took the keys and HE climbed up,
but did the tractor GO?
No.
'Rotten luck!' said Mr. Kurt.
'Does anyone know how to make my tractor GO?'
'Let ME try!' said Uncle Matthew,
and he took the keys and HE climbed up,
but did the tractor GO?
No.
'Rotten luck!' said Mr. Kurt.
'Does anyone know how to make my tractor GO?'
'Let ME try!' said Kurtis,
and he took the keys and HE climbed up,
but did the tractor GO?
No.
'Rotten luck!' said Mr. Kurt.
'Does anyone know how to make my tractor GO?'
'Let ME try!' said William!
'FIRST we make sure the tractor's all GOOD-'
So he went to the front and he lifted the hood.
And he worked and he worked and he worked on the engine,
and with all his tools he corrected the problem.

THEN HE took the keys and HE climbed up,
and did the tractor GO?
YES! The tractor was FREE!
'SEE?' said William. 'No need to panic!
I fixed your tractor, 'cuz I'm a mechanic!'

'Hip, hip, hooray! William saved the day!' they all cried!
THE END."

Song

When Will asks to hear the song about the boat, he wants me to sing this:

(Sung loosely to the tune of the chorus of "Goodnight, Ladies" from The Music Man.)

"William's on a boat, splashin' in the sea.
Barrett says to William, 'Won't you please take me?'

William says to Barrett, 'Sure! Hop in my boat-
We'll have a great adventure!' and then off they float.

They travel to an island with a DRAGON on the shore.
They shudder when they hear the dragon's GREAT, BIG, ROAR!

William says to Barrett, 'Hey! Let's me and you
Capture this big dragon and then sell him to the zoo.'

They fire off the cannons, and with the great big shot,
The dragon flies up in the air and then he's caught!

They travel through the island, with a jungle thick and hot.
They're looking for where the letter 'X' marks the spot.

They find where the letter 'X' is, and dig a great big hole.
And what do they find? A treasure chest that's full of gold!"

And then I say, "Yo ho ho, yippee!"

(I claim no creative credit for these. They are mostly compilations of various ripped-off plots from Will's favorite books combined with names of Will's beloved friends and family.)
